We just love linen! We design and hand make every product in our studio in Brisbane, Australia, using pure European linen in beautiful colours. All our tote bags are fully lined in pure cotton twill. Linen always looks stylish and is naturally strong so you can use these spacious bags everyday, for a weekend away or as a special gift for a friend.

Linen

Linen is a natural fibre made from the flax plant.  All parts of the plant are used in products such as lino, linseed oil, paper and soap. The production of linen uses far less water than cotton and it is biodegradable and recyclable. Linen is able to absorb moisture, keeping it dry to the touch, prevents bacterial growth and does not attract dust. It conducts heat so is cool to the skin in summer and warm in winter. It becomes even more supple and beautiful with use.

Our Source

We source our linen from Merchant and Mills, who use linen grown and milled in Lithuania.

The vegetable tanned leather for our handles comes from a local leather supplier.

We use Chicago screws to attach the leather handles so that they can be easily removed should the bag need laundering.
